“Convivencia Perruna”  Dog Walk, Rally & Fundraiser: Dec. 10

 Family-Friendly Fun Event for dogs & owners in December…

Join CIMAC  (Conservación, Investigación y Manejo Ambiental en Cozumel), MEVEAC and Animal Control as they host a fundraising dog walk and rally on December 10th starting at 5pm from the downtown esplanade.  Family-friendly fun events include a walk from the Esplanade to Parque Andres Quintana Roo,  a dog fair, and doggie contests, including best trick and cutest dog costume.

Participation is only $150 pesos and includes a t-shirt for the human and a bandana for the dog.  This event is limited to dogs only. Dogs must be accompanied by a human, who has water, a leash and collar and a collection bag for accidents.  Owners will be asked to present proof of current vaccinations and dogs judged to be too aggressive,in heat or misbehaved will be asked to leave.

Donations such as dog food, leashes, cleaning supplies, dog shampoo will also be collected. For more information, to register or volunteer, please contact Lupita Martin at CIMAC, through their Facebook page.

En Diciembre, un evento de diversión en familia, para los perros y sus amos . . .

Únanse a CIMAC (Conservación, Investigación y Manejo Ambiental en Cozumel), a MEVEC y a Control Animal en la caminata con perros y rally que organizan para Diciembre 10 a partir de las 5:00 p.m. saliendo de la explanada del centro. El evento de diversión familiar incluye la caminata desde la explanada hasta el parque Andrés Quintana Roo, una feria de perros, concurso de perros, el mejor truco y disfraz más tierno.

La participación tiene un costo de sólo $150.00 pesos e incluye una camiseta para el humano y un paliacate para el perro. El evento está limitado sólo en lo que respecta a los perros. Los perros deben estar acompañados por un humano, traer agua, tener collar y correa y una serie de bolsas para los accidentes. A los dueños se les pedirá que comprueben que las vacunas de sus perros están al día; y a los perros a los que se considere muy agresivos, en celo o cuya conducta sea mala se les pedirá que se retiren.
