Cozumel Go To Guy:  A New Island Service

& An Introduction from Manuel

Cozumel Go To Guy

Hello Everybody! My name is Manuel and I’m the Go to Guy in Cozumel! Ok, you probably don’t know what that means, so let me explain you….

My girlfriend Sandra and I recently moved to this little paradise called Cozumel to start a business exclusive for Crew Members, Sandra worked for a cruise ship for 4 years and noticed the lack of variety of groceries that a cruise ship has to offer for their crew members, so we started a business for them.

Anyway, that led us to move to cozumel in 2017, of course we came only with 2 bag packs of clothes and the blessings from our moms and had to look for a place to rent, and after a month living in an Airbnb residence we found a place where we had to share the pool and the laundry room with another house, and let me tell you, we couldn’t have been more lucky, our “vecinos” turned out to be one of the most loving persons that we know, both of them ”expats”; she is a bartender and he is a scuba lesson instructor, if you live in Coz you probably know who they are, if not, go to the no name sports bar say my name and get a free beer, just kidding, nothing in life is free. 🙂

So, our new “vecinos” introduced us to many of their friends, and one of them gave us the idea to expand our business and create one specialized in helping expats that live here to have an easier way to get assistance in any of the day to day needs, for example, cleaning ladies, plumbers, construction workers, electric, I.T., legal assistance, CFE, Telmex, almost any thing that you need to have somebody you can trust that speaks English and Spanish to help to get all of those things get done.

Trust is the most important word for this business, I recently heard a horror story of an expat that had to get their residence permit renewed, and because of the paperwork he had to do, he had to translate his house title to English (the property that he has in Cozumel) and found out that the title had a clause that said that if he died, the house had to go to the lawyer that helped him buy that house, um, wow.

I hope I can write in this newsletter more often, I hope you give our business a chance and allow us to provide the service that you deserve.

Cozumel Go To Guy:  Un Servicio Nuevo Para la Isla

Presentamos a Manuel & Sus Servicios…
