Cozumel continues to be one of the most popular cruise destinations in the Caribbean. In fact, reports released by the Port Authority of Quintana Roo (ApiQroo) showed  November arrivals total – 418,318 passengers – which is just over an 18.5% increase.

Obviously December figures have yet to be released,   but so far the projections for 2017 are positive.  The busiest month of the year was March (468,528 passengers)  followed by January (433,537 passengers) and then November.

Also of note, between January – November of this year 3,672,765 visitors have been brought to Cozumel via cruise ships.   While December figures have yet to be included, again, this number also exceeds the yearly total for 2016.
