Cozumel nature is abundant.  Aside from the famous crystal clear waters that abound with fish, turtles and other sealife, the topside animals can be just as exotic.  Iguanas, Endemic pygmy raccoons, coati mundis, peacocks, flamingos just to name a few.

Cozumel Turtle Nesting and Hatching season runs from May through September and the Municipal Department of Ecology runs a turtle program so that island visitors can participate in this uniquely Cozumel event.
