Cozumel Humane Society events:  Every other Saturday the Humane Society hosts an “Adopt a pet” program at the Mega Comerical Mexicana parking lot.  The event actually starts at 9 am but Andrea and other volunteers will be at the shelter starting at 8 am, to load up.  You can find then right in front under a blue tent, generously provided.   In addition to having a range of cute, furry animals to adopt,  it’s a great place to get information, make donations, or just stop by and say Hi! Every alternate Sunday you can find the crew in the downtown square, and the meeting time is  7 pm in front of Aqua Safari.

 
Eventos Sociedad Humanitaria de Cozumel:  Cada Sabado hay una programa de adopcion en el estacionamiento del Mega Comerical Mexicana.  El evento empiezas a las 9 am pero Andrea y los otro voluntarios estan en el Sociedad Humanataria  empacando todo desde las 8 am.  Usted puedes encontrarlos  a ellos abajo de una lona azul . Hay una seleccion de animales para poder adoptar, puedes donar, o parar y obtener informacion.  Cada  orto Domingo usted puede encontrar los voluntarios en el zocalo,  enfrente de Aqua safari empezando a las 7 am. 

Cozumel is up, open and ready for business after the Swine Flu non-event.  With most of that business behind us, many of us here on the island are looking forward to Mother’s Day.  Galerias Cullen is having a big sale, and many local restaurants, such as La Cocay,  are open and preparing something special for you and your Mother.
