The winner of the annual Cozumel Aerial Photo Competition by Fly Cozumel, edition 2017 is Florent Serfati of Serfati Photography. His picture “curves of Paradise” got 23% of the votes and the jury agreed with the voters. Congratulations Flo! This year you took the best picture of Cozumel out of the Fly Cozumel Airplane. Thank you Flo, Nadine, Chris and Guy for competing this year. It was a pleasure to Fly you around Cozumel and to see your creativity. Flo, you won a dinner and night at Hotel Ventanas al Mar! Among the voters we have a winner as well: Liliana Razo; the winner of a Cozumel Island Tour by Airplane for two persons. Congratulations.
In 2016, FlyCozumel organized, together with Cozumel4you, the first Annual Cozumel Aerial Photo Contest. We took four island photographers on our Island Tour by Airplane; all four submitted their best photos and Fred Boehm was chosen by the public as the winner.
It’s 2017, and as promised, we did it again! Our Cozumel Island Tour by Airplane is a thrilling way to see our
amazing island from a unique perspective you will not soon forget. Even seasoned island visitors can enjoy the different perspective of a day trip Airplane Tour.
So during the week of Carnaval, we took out four creative photographers in our new Cessna 210. Forty-five minutes around the island by Airplane with Fly Cozumel. What a beauty! Cozumel island is beautiful to explore by land, and it’s amazing to discover what Cozumel has to offer from the water, however, Fly Cozumel guarantees that Cozumel seen from the air will exceed your highest expectations.

The assignment was simple. Submit two aerial photos taken during the island tour by Airplane:
- Your best shot of Cozumel
- Your best picture of Hotel Ventanas al Mar.
THE WINNER OF THE ANNUAL COZUMEL AERIAL PHOTO COMPETITION. The winner of the annual Cozumel Aerial Photo Competition by Fly Cozumel, edition 2017 is Florent Serfati of Serfati Photography. His picture “curves of paradise” got 23% of the votes. The voting at the end was a race between Flo and Nadine, one day Flo was number 1, the other day Nadine. The jury: last years winner Fred Boehm . Laura Wilkinson of Cozumel4You and Ricardo Pech of Ventanas al Mar agreed with the voters. “The most outstanding photo. Beauty. Naturalistic. Watching the beauty of Cozumel´s nature is easy, but capturing can be very challenging, especially when one has to do that out of an Airplane!”.
Fly Cozumel as well as hotel Ventanas Al Mar would like to mention that Nadine edited her photo of Hotel Ventanas Al Mar in a very creative way. Hotel Ventanas al Mar is the only oceanfront eco friendly hotel to be found on Cozumel’s unspoiled, rugged East Coast. We flew over the Hotel many times and never seen that the rock could half a heart. Nadine did. Kudos to you!!! Just wow! Check it out!
THE WINNER OF A COZUMEL ISLAND TOUR BY AIRPLANE FOR 2 PERSONS. Among the persons that voted we randomly selected one person that we will give a Cozumel Island Tour by Airplane for two persons for free. The winner of the Scenic Flight above Cozumel in our Cessna 210 is: Liliana Razo. Congratulations. We have sent you an e-mail to plan your Scenic Flight above Cozumel.

Este año tomaste la mejor fotografía desde el avión de Fly Cozumel. Gracias a Flo, Nadine, Chris and Guy por competir este año. Fue un placer volarlos alrededor sobre Cozumel y ver su creatividad. Flo, ganaste una cena y una noche de estancia en el hotel Ventanas al Mar. Entre quienes votaron, también tenemos una ganadora: Liliana Razo, ganadora de una excursión aérea sobre la Isla para dos personas. Felicitaciones.
En el año 2016 FlyCozumel junto con Cozumel4You organizaron el Primer Concurso Fotográfico Aéreo. Llevamos a cuatro fotógrafos de nuestra Isla en nuestra excursión aérea sobre la Isla. Los cuatro entregaron sus mejores fotografías y el público eligió a Fred Bohem fue el ganador.
Es 2017 y, como lo prometimos, ¡lo hicimos nuevamente! Nuestra excursión aérea sobre la Isla es una forma emocionante de ver nuestra sorprendente Isla desde una perspectiva particular que no olvidará por largo tiempo. Incluso experimentados visitantes de la Isla disfrutan de la perspectiva diferente a través de la excursión aérea de día.
Así que, durante la semana de Carnaval llevamos a nuestros creativos fotógrafos a bordo de nuestro nuevo Cessna 210. Cuarenta y cinco minutos alrededor de la Isla en avión con FlyCozumel. ¡Qué belleza! La Isla de Cozumel es bella cuando se explora en tierra, y es sorprendente descubrir lo que Cozumel tiene para ofrecer en el agua; sin embargo, FlyCozumel garantiza que Cozumel visto desde el aire excede sus mayores expectativas.

EL GANADOR DE LA COMPETENCIA ANUAL DE FOTOGRAFÍA AÉREA. El ganador de la Competencia Anual de Fotografía Aérea de FlyCozumel edición 2017 es Florent Serfati de Serfati Photography. Su fotografía “Curves of Paradise” obtuvo 23% de los votos. Al final los votos fueron una contienda entre Flo y Nadine; un día Flo era el número 1 y al siguiente lo era Nadine. El jurado, integrado por Fred Bohem, ganador del año anterior ;Laura Wilkinson de Cozumel4You y Ricardo Pech de Ventanas al Mar coincidieron con los votantes. “La fotografía más sorprendente. Belleza. Natural. Observar la naturaleza de Cozumel es sencillo, pero captarla puede ser un gran reto especialmente cuando alguien desde hacerlo desde el avión”.
FlyCozumel así como hotel Ventanas al Mar desean mencionar que Nadine edito su fotografía del hotel Ventanas al Mar de una manera sumamente creativa. El hotel Ventanas al Mar es el único hotel ecológico que se ubica en la agreste y natural costa oriental. Volamos muchas veces sobre el hotel y nunca habíamos visto que la roca formaba medio corazón Nadine sí lo vio. ¡Merecidos elogios para ti! ¡Increíble! ¡Echen un vistazo!

Una ex yanqui de Connecticut quien llama hogar a Cozumel desde hace más de 15 años. Laura escapó al Caribe hace años, desplazándose de una isla a otra dando clases de BUCEO. Se dedicó a perder el tiempo en Jamaica y finalmente se detuvo en Cozumel para pasar unas vacaciones de 2 semanas que aún no terminan. Convenciendo a sus padres que pagaran una elegante universidad privada, obtuvo su título en Periodismo y Laura crea semanalmente Cozumel 4You, medios sociales y artículos promocionales sobre la Isla y también es moderadora en el grupo Cozumel 4 You en Facebook que actualmente cuenta con 25,000 miembros. Fabián, s umuy tolerante marido, desde hace mucho tiempo se resignó a no tener vida privada, pues se ha visto implicado en los diversos proyectos y planes que urde Laura. Son orgullosos padres de diversos perros y gatos rescatados. Mientras contempla su paso a través de la vida en el Caribe mexicano,Laura continúa siendo la pesadilla en la existencia de su muy tradicional suegra mexicana.
