What is a Will?
The Federal Government has designated September as the Month for Wills, offering this option to Mexicans as well as to foreign nationals at a very accessible cost without having to pay certain fees.
What is a Will?
A legal instrument expressing the will of the owner or testator so that one or several specific people who will become the legitimate heirs to the testator’s estate may acquire the right over the estate after the owner’s or testator’s demise.
Which one is more common for you?
The will that is preferred for its processing efficiency and clarity is the Open Will which I, as Public Notary, recommend as it is executed before and attested by me; but mainly because the testator declares his/her own free will, designating the person or persons to whom his/her estate will be bequeathed whether to a spouse, offspring, parents, brothers or sisters, a relative, friends, acquaintances or otherwise to an academic, health or charity institution; thus ensuring the final destination of his/her belongings after death.
What can I devise?
Real properties, bank accounts, stock, art works, vehicles, furniture, books and any other economically valuable thing or which you deem as sentimentally valuable.
The most important thing is to appear before a Public Notary who will prepare the Will and before whom you must state to who you wish to bequeath your property and how should your estate be allocated.

Que es un testamento?
Se refiere a un instrumento legal que expresa la voluntad del legítimo propietario o testador, para que una o varias personas determinadas quienes serán los legítimos herederos de sus bienes, adquieran el derecho de su propiedad después de su fallecimiento.
y cual es el más común para Usted?
El testamento que más se realiza por su eficacia y simplicidad de trámite es el público abierto, mismo que recomiendo como Notario Público ya que se otorga ante mi fe pública pero sobre todo porque el testador manifiesta su libre voluntad y designa a que persona o personas heredaran sus bienes pudiendo ser su cónyuge, hijos, padres, hermanos, algún familiar, amigos, conocidos o bien a alguna institución de tipo académico, de salud o de beneficencia; con lo que asegura el destino de sus pertenencias después de su muerte.
Que puedo heredar??
Se pueden heredar propiedades inmobiliarias, cuentas bancarias, acciones, obras de arte, autos, muebles, libros, y cualquier cosa que tenga un valor económico o estimativo para Usted.
