World’s Largest Cruise Ship Calls into Cozumel

Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines “Harmony of the Seas”  called into Cozumel for the first time last week.  Currently the largest cruise ship in the world, the Harmony has a capacity of 5,497 passengers encompassing 16 guest decks. One of the ship’s most impressive features is the “Ultimate Abyss:”  a 10- storey slide that is more than 150 feet above sea level.

Now that the Harmony has started this current Caribbean tour, the boat will arrive twice a month and will include stops in Jamaica and Haiti.

La semana pasada llegó a Cozumel por primera ocasión el buque Harmony of the Seas perteneciente a la línea naviera Royal Caribbean. El Harmony, hoy por hoy el buque de mayor tamaño en el mundo, tiene una capacidad para 5,497 pasajeros y comprende de 16 cubiertas. Una de sus características más impresionantes es “Ultimate Abyss” un tobogán de 10 pisos que se encuentra a más de 150 pies sobre el nivel del mar.

 

Ahora que el buque Harmony ha comenzado este recorrido por el Caribe, arribará dos veces al mes e incluirá escalas en Jamaica y Haití.
