DOG FOUND ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE ISLAND

This story is proof that there are still good people out there in the world. A few days ago a friend of the coz HS, found a dog on the east side of the island . Canela, as she decided to name her, had fur with dreadlocks and the locals who fed her commented that she had been there for a few weeks, most probably dumped by her owner. This is unfortunately very common even today.

Her rescuer didn't think twice and brought Canela to us for a medical checkup Canela is a dog with a noble and sweet heart, when we checked her we found a tumor which was removed imediatly, her surgery was a success. In the same way she was vaccinated, sterilized and dewormed. Canela won the heart of her rescuer who without hesitation decided to take her home with her to Dallas, Texas.

Now Canela has a second chance in life to have a loving home, where she will never be cold, wet, hungry, or hurt again. Canela we wish you the best and we invite people that if they witness any abandonment or abuse, do not remain silent and REPORT to the authorities,. Together we can be part of the solution.
