Cozumel, Quintana Roo, 7 de marzo de 2024.- La empresa Xcaret Xailing, filial del Grupo Xcaret dedicada a la operación de un ferry de alta velocidad, realizó este miércoles pruebas finales en el muelle de San Miguel de Cozumel, confirmando así la apertura de la ruta Cozumel-Playa del Carmen.
La taquilla de Xcaret Xailing en el muelle de Cozumel estuvo abierta por algunos minutos, permitiendo la compra de boletos y el abordaje del barco “Xcaret 1” por parte de un grupo de 36 personas. Este simulacro, autorizado por la Administración Portuaria Integral de Quintana Roo (APIQROO), tuvo como objetivo verificar el proceso de desembarque y embarque, familiarizar al personal con las reglas del muelle y ajustar los protocolos de seguridad.
