Cozumel Carnaval 2018 Planning Already Underway

Parade Dates & Deadline for Royal Court Candidates Announced

Marking 143 years of tradition, preparations for the 2018 Cozumel celebration are underway.  Submissions for individuals who were interested in running for the royal court – King & Queen – were due  last week – November 10th.

The actual Carnaval will take place from February 3rd – 10th with parades on February 10, 11 and 13th.

This does not include all the fun pre-carnval events including the selection of the Royal Court.

En marcha los planes para el Carnaval 2018 en Cozumel

Se han dado a conocer las fechas del desfile y fecha limite para los candidatos de la corte real. . .

Ya se encuentran en marcha las preparaciones para la celebración del año 2018, cumpliendo así 143 años de esta tradición.  La fecha limite de presentación para quienes estuvieran interesados en competir para Rey y Reina concluyo el 10 de noviembre.

 

El Carnaval tendrá lugar de Febrero 3 al 10; los paseos se realizarán los días 10, 11 y 13.

 

Esto no incluye los eventos previos al Carnaval, incluyendo la elección de la corte real.
