The Venezuelan Navy’s Training Ship, the AB “Simon Bolivar” (BE-11) made her third call into port on Cozumel last Friday.  With 149 crew members on board, their arrival is part of an annual training mission designed to strengthen ties with the Mexican navy.  During their stay on the island, the crew were kind enough to offer public tours of the boat, free of charge.   Docked at the downtown Punta Langosta pier, the ship was built in 1979 and is a frequent participant in the Tall Ship events.
